Was looking for some clarificaton and you gave it. I am less worries now. And just to affirm your view that it is no risk I will report back after my next routine tests assuming no other exposure. Thanks again.
No one has ever been infected from receiving oral sex.
And no one has ever been infected from giving cunnilingus. It just doesn't happen. There would have to be sufficient wounds and a large quantity of blood to even be considered a hypothetical risk.
If you don't believe what I say, and you're so sure you had a risk, why did you come here looking for advice?
Not to be rude but I fail to see how it is accurate that I never had risk. I had an open sore in my mouth (canker sore not herpes) and there was mentrual blood present (very small residual amount). I know your stance is such that oral sex does not usually transmit HIV but is there even an outside chance here that it could have considering the open sore? What makes that sore any different than having one on my penis that is not covered by a condom?
And if so can I rely on an In home test? I do not have health insurance and it will cost me hundreds of I get it from the doctor.. And as for going to a clinic I can not get the time off work.
I am sorry to tie up so much time .. As you can tell I am a bit anxious.
You never had a risk and that is all that matters.
So there has never been anyone in medical history that has gotten hiv from cunnalingus even with bleeding gums or an open sore?
And if I were at risk I assume that I could take a Ora quick oral swab test around 6 weeks and it should have the same level of accuracy as a 6 week antibody test, is that accurate?
