Please advise

Approximately four weeks ago, an acquaintance was over at my house and ate jam directly from the jar with a spoon. Later on i noticed that he had cuts and sores on his lips. Because i have a sensitivity towards hiv i noted the fact and did not use it for approximately 4 to 5 weeks. However, the other day i forgot all about the incident and proceeded to have jam. I know this may sound stupid but i am very worried of having contracted hiv. I know that the virus cannot survive outside the body, however the jam was shut with a lid and stored in a relatively cold temperature in the refrigerator. If we take for granted that the person had hiv and a spil of blood was present in the jam, is there any possibility that it could survive a period of 4 weeks? Is there a need to get tested. Please advise as i am very worried. Thank tou

You do not contract HIV from eating jam after another person that ate jam out of the jar. Not even if you both used the same spoon.
