Should I Trust Them?

Four year ago I had unprotected sex. I was very worried nd started to get fever the next day, in short I had hives, burn looking rash on my face, constipation, dried eyes in the morning nd also a dry mouth all within two weeks. I was a freshman then so I went and took a hiv test and I was told it was negative. Mind you I was 19 yrs old then. The next day after taking the test, I saw the nurses that took my blood and ran the test at my school at the dean's office. I still wonder what brought them there.

It's four yrs now since the risk nd I am still afraid I have aids because my tongue is white I have fever always nd feel so weak! I went to the hospital again for a test, but a different one from the first one. The test was done and I was told by the doctor that I'm hiv negative.

Do doctors lie in order not to freak you out? Did they lie to me that I'm hiv negative but imformed my parents that I'm positive. I'm 23 year old senior. Is that possible? Plss I need answer

Do you know how irrational that is?  For one, you have the doctors lying to "spare your feelings"?  Doctors give patients bad news every day, it's part of their job.  Due to liability, moral, and other reasons, they would not conceal something like that.  Your parents?  What?  They're just NOT going to tell you, keeping you from needed medical care, and keeping you from infecting others knowingly?  Come on!

What brought them there?  Could be a million things!

You've been worried about this for FOUR years?  Time to get some help.
