post pep hiv testing

Hello,
I could have had a potential exposure over 2 months ago. I say I could, because I don't recall anything dangerous and i was assured by the partner that no penetration occured, which is consistent with my recollection of that incident. But as I was not sure of this I decided to take pep, which was at first combivir and kaletra for 2 days, afterwards combivir only. I adhered toi the regime in 100%. I recently tested with hiv duo test 30 days after completing pep and the result was negative. As I am not from UK we have a different testing schedule (i suppose the old uk-one with 6 weeks, 3 and 6 months). But can I consider my 4 weeks post pep reliable? I am a med intern and in my understanding this is a good sign but unfortunatelly i cannot get any reassuring answers from my infectious diseases specialist (she is a teacher from my med university so i decided not to disclose my profession to her) who treats me in a very rough manner...
Can I calm down my nerves and get back to reality and fully relay on my 4 weeks post pep duo result? I would be greatful for an honest answer.
Thank you very very much for help
My kind regards

Look,in all reality only you know what happened and what didn't happen,if you think you can't remember then a test is fine and you had one.nPEP is really only given to people who have had a high risk exposure with a known positive person. If you really can't remember what happened then test 12 weeks after your last dose of nPEP.

nPEP is typically reserved for situations where an exposure (unprotected anal/vaginal sex) occured with a KNOWN positive partner.  I can see why you sought it out, but again, it was not probably necessary.

To obtain your conclusive result, you will want to test 3 months after your LAST dose of nPEP.

It might be a good idea from here on out to not get so intoxicated that you are not in control of your actions and cannot remember events.  It's dangerous in all aspects and you're putting yourself in a really vulnerable position.

Well, I cannot relay totally on words of that. I was under influence of alcohol and maybe my judgment was poor. I recall him performing oral sex on me, I refused the same on him as well as i refused penetration but this was an event that i would like to forget about as i am a control freak and this time i was not controlable at all. I really doubt a normal man would say things untrue and had no reason to hide the truth from me but i still had this fear, that is why i sought for pep

You never had a risk if there was no penetration and why you given nPEP I will never know.As far as testing goes you never needed to test either. You're safe and can put this matter behind you.
