Brief Encounter

I had a brief encounter- very brief unprotected vaginal sex.  Since then I have had white patchs in my mouth, gastristis, night sweats and just haven't felt good. I had a negative test at 2 months post exposure and 8 months post exposure. I know you will just say that 8 months is good enough, but my question is this-  Are there different tests that i might need to get? someone said they only showed postive on a western blot test, and this is causing me for some concern. Also, is 8 months 100% accurate?

SOMEONE told you WRONG.

a western blot is a confirmatory test done after a positive antibody test.

you do NOT have hiv...period...end of story

You're HIV negative. 3 months is conclusive since you got your test at 8 months your fine. See your doctor for your symptoms that are not HIV related
