I did teak but I just don't get it. You never mentioned how my open wound wouldn't be a risk, if her period blood get on my open cut how is that not a risk? It happens Jan 1st and I got tested Feb 2nd negative... I'm freaking out cause I'm braking out in hives and getting sore throats now.
Im no expert. But i had a real risk with an std and symptoms. Nothing teak says will satisfy you if your that worried. Everyone here would tell you your negative. So just wait the 3 months and test for your sanity. It may not be easy. But i drove myself crazy for 20 weeks. you can wait out the 12. try to relax.
I' just want an answer... Because just giving an answer saying weren't at risk doesn't mean your giving advice.. I just want some one to explain my situation that's all
HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
Lizzie's reply was HIV takes place within the body.
There are 2 reasons for this, one is that HIV transmission takes place inside the body not outside it and the other is that the HIV virus becomes inactive as soon as it is exposed to air and therefore is unable to infect you. This is why you never had a risk.
HIV is a fragile virus and when exposed to air,PH change, temperature change it damages the outer shell of the virus and the virus cannot attach to the T cell which renders the virus inactive.
