Sore Throat, Tested Negative For Strep, Heat Flashes,

If someone was to have an encounter another with another that has HIV, but used a condom both for oral, and anal, however was rimmed for a very brief moment before. Would that be enough exposure to infect them? They're wife feel ill with flu like symptoms but tested negative for the flu, and is feeling better. However now the significant other has a sore throat with bumps on it and tested negative for strep and now has an upset stomach and heat flashes. Could he have been infected through the rimming? So stress and worried can someone please help me feel better about this situation??

It will be negative, you have not had a risk.  Whatever is going on with you physically has nothing to do with HIV as you didn't have an exposure.  Instead of getting an HIV test, which will be negative, I suggest you see a doctor to see what is causing your symptoms... HIV Is not.

Teak, I appreciate your response... I'm still stressing a bit here! My throat has improved but there are still small bumps in the back and the roof of my mouth looks like it's turning white. No pain or discomfort though. I've been having headaches and muscle spasms in my shoulders and neck. Would my exposure be enough to test positive for HIV. Even if there was a brief oral with no condum? I believe 100% a condum was used but for lack of memory and stress of it I wanted to ask. Protection was used for anal, but what if it was ripped off afterwards an I was exposed to touching the condum or a small hole for that matter?!?! UGH!!! Sorry just a little freaked by my throat and mouth. Your comments are greatly appreciated. I go today to get a rapid test... It's been 4 1/2 weeks as of this week.

Rimming isn't a risk of HIV transmission.
