Stress with a baby on the way

Hi, first I have read the posts about these type of incidents and still feel the need to post out of anxiety (yes, I admit, I have anxierty and you'll like see me shortly at the anxiety forum. heh) My anxierty is liekly due to me being married and planning for a baby so my stress and anxiety are in overdrive and likely irrational so please have compassion with my post.

I regularly play basketball in the SF Bay area and am quite friendly with most of the players. Some are known to be HIV+ but it never bothered me in the past...not even slightly until now. when playing I was scratched. (yes another scratch question) and blood was drawn and visable.

Is there any chance of infection. ie Should I get tested (rational mind so no) and/or use condoms with my wife until a peace of mind test occurs. Even the slighest chance I feel that I may need to test.

I am aware and have learned much from the posts and know that HIV is usually spread through unprotected vaginal/anal sex and IV drug use and that No risks are oral, fingering, etc. Im just stresed because blood was drawn and the chance he was infected which is quite possible from knowledge I have. Combine HIV+ players and scratch+baby=stress and worry.

Hope you can help.

Really, what a relief, assuming that he was indeed HIV+ (which is a big assumption) then the same applies???? "You never had a risk. MOVE ON.???? If this changes nothing I will do just that MOVE ON.

Thanks Teak.
