HIV INFECTION

It means that when a needle is injected into deep muscle/tissue or into the blood stream then you can start talking about a risk. Anything that just scratches or cuts the skin is not a risk.

hey,Teak  i know that i may be annoying, but this may be my last question. ,i got such contents on medhelp page that'There have been no known cases of HIV being transmitted through open wounds, except when the wound is caused by an HIV-contaminated object (like an infected needle).'what is that mean?and can a fresh superficial wound(caused a few seconds before) poured in fresh blood in a large amount bring risk of hiv?
