Swolen lymph nodes in neck

I have swolen lymph nodes in my neck following unprotected sex two months ago. I have no reason to beleive my gf is infected cause we both took a test together some weeks before and the results were negatige but i am dying of anxeity and i don't know wat to do and i did an antibody test 45 days post exposer 6 weeks and it was negative i jus want to know if it was hiv would the lymph nodes under my arm be affected as well or jus the ones in my head and neck  and 2 i did the test more that ten days after the symptoms started would the test show positive then if it was hiv and 3 i am very prone to ear infections since i was a child would this be the cause of the lymph nodes in my neck swelling. I am realy dying of anxeity and i keep checking my tongue and it looks a bit white to me but my mother who is a nurse says its normal and all the doctors also says its normal. I jus want to kn if i had thrush would my tongue feel uncomfortable or would it still feel normal. pleez help

Symptoms come 2 -4 weeks after exposure, last for about 1-2 weeks (10 days average) and then leave.  They come all at once and go all at once.

Your symptoms have gone on far too long for them to have anything to do with HIV.

If somebody goes through true ARS it is the body producing antibodies to the HIV virus and therefore a test will show positive, or at least inderterminate, very soon afterwards (as in days).

Your test at 45 days is a very good indication of your status and one that is highly unlikley to change at the 3 month mark.

Stop procrastinating over symptoms, yours have nothing to do with HIV.  Go and get tested, that is the only way to know ones status.

i dont think anxiety can cause swollen lymph node !
i have swollen lymph node and sore throat
i have tested after 33 of exposure and it was negative i strongly believe that it will convert to positive in the next test ( hope not )

Its is more than likely you do not have HIV. Most of your symptoms are being caused by anxiety. Just forget about it. intill its time to take your 3 month test. You will be OK.

a test at 6 weeks is HIGHLY unlikely to change.   swollen lymph nodes due to ars are generalized, not just in one specific location

if a nurse and your drs tell you that you dont have thrush...LISTEN to them !
