Swollen armpit lymph node after sex

I am a male, I had unprotected oral and vaginal sex with a female. 4 days later I notcied a lump in my left armpit while showering. Next day it grew to about the size of half a golf ball. It is painful to the touch, the rest of the arm kinda hurts but not to the point that I am unable to do anything, colorless (it is under the skin), and has not continued to grow since two days ago. It has been a week since my sexual encounter, I have no other symptoms other than this lump in my armpit. Also I swear a lot while working, my arms break out with red bumps and pimples often. So question is, what is the lump? I’ve been searching online nonstop for the past few days and have convinced myself it’s hiv or cancer and I’m kinda freaking out out. Planning on going to a doctor in the next few days. Any suggestions as to what it is would be appreciated. Thank you!

unprotected vaginal sex is one of the ways people do get HIV but you had a single encounter which puts you at much lower risk.  You'll need to test at 28 days with a 4th generation Duo test to be sure but doubt you got HIV from this.  Swollen lymph nodes happen for lots of reasons.  It's part of the bodies immune system.  But you wouldn't get a swollen lymph node from this 4 days later.  HIV is never diagnosed by symptoms anyway.  Only a test.  Take one, it will likely be negative.

Thank you. Is it normal to get a lump in my armpit so soon after an encounter? Looking for any reason to believe it’s not an std but I have posted in that community as well.

Unprotected oral sex would have never exposed you to HIV, but unprotected vaginal would have done it in case that lady were HIV+.

Go for a duo combo ab/ag test 28 days after the encounter. Symptoms are never used to diagnose HIV, as they can be confusing.

Check also the std forum, as your unprotected encounter has exposed you to more stds, apart from HIV.

All the best.
