Realiability of a 83 day negative test after unprotected sex

I had unprotected sex with this guy only once, however he did not ejaculate in me.
My question is, is a test taken after 83 days reliable after this kind of exposure?

I do not have an immume defficient disorder
I had an std test and it came up negatieve
my hiv test taken at 83 days was negative

Im still extremely worried and have nightmares regarding this situation. I realized the doctor has stated that 6 weeks is reliable however for low risk activites such as oral sex. For my experience is 83 days reliable?

Thanks monkeyflower, i really appreciate you're response. I have just been obsessive compulsive over this whole thing. and all these people worried about oral sex doesnt help. people with risks such as myself are naturally going to be more worried over such situations, since were at a higher risk.

You are fine. 83 days is close enough. You do not have HIV.

Oops, responded at the same time. True, you're at higher risk than pretty much anyone on this board, but that's not saying much. You weren't at particularly high risk at all. And 83 days really is okay.

Why not avoid this freakout in the future, and just always use condoms and waterbased lube? Put a few condoms and some lube samples in a little bag (wallet, whatever), and keep it in your purse. Then you're always prepared :-)
