Briefly, the test should turn positive at most 3 weeks after the onset of ARS.
Since you are being tested for p24 as well, that window should be even shorter.
So I think you should expect negative results from now on.
But get another test to be sure, yours was taken way too early.
I recommend at least 6 weeks post-exposure.
so if a person indeed has ARS, how long after the onset of ARS would he test positive? As far as I understand, ARS is caused by the body launching an offensive on the virus and producing antibodies...am I right?
Just because you think you had ARS, doesn't mean that you had ARS at all. Would your body have detectable antibodies at that time. That can't be answered without having a test done at the proper time.
