Tested on 6th week now having dry skin

Hi Doc,

First of all grateful for the the efforts you guys spending here!

I've been experiencing symtoms after a suspected exposure e.g. chill, fatigue, persistent fever and diarrhea. I had a protected anal sex and unprotected bj( both insertive) prior to that. On the 6th week 5 days  I made a rapid finger prick blood test which came as negative.

My question is, as for now I'm experiencing dry skin all over body and I also see flaky yellowish wax around my eyebrow and mustaches. Apart from this also tingling and itchy sensation at different spot of body. Knowing that hiv patient do have dry skin but does it shows up as soon as they are infected?

Many thanks.

It's not sweat it's just oily and sensitive Stretch around the lips and  nose including eyebrow.

My skin feels hurt even with wearing my normal attire.

My Gp said it could be due to stress.
What I could say is my body is having drastic changes.

It could be sweat that you haven't wiped off your skin properly because you had no risk so it has nothing to do with HIV.

I hate complaining, but Ive just confirmed its seborrhoeic happening on my face.

Please let me know if it's hiv related. Really no offense.

I've tried my best to recalled whatever happened during my exposure, as there're many symptoms flared up I'm just have to decide on making any further testing.

You never had an HIV risk then & your skin condition is probably as a result of stress or lack of fluids, drink more water.

I had protected anal (insertive) but with using some alcohol base liquid as lube and also unprotected oral.

As the light was on during the whole time so I'm quite sure the condom did not break.

I've oily skin in my whole life prior to this.

Dry skin has nothing to do with HIV.You need to tell us what your exposure was & then we can advise you.
