HIV possible infection

I had twice an unprotected sex in a relationship with an older guy.  Although we discussed our previous sexual relationship at some lenght, I did realise after some time that he was not really trustable and have a lot of doubts about his sexual past.  3 weeks after the sex I started feeling my lymph nodes in my neck and then my groin and underarms.  Although they are not exactly enlarged and not really painful I do feel them quite tender most of the time.  This has been going on for 4 weeks now.  I have no other symptoms.  I have done blood tests for various sexual diseases but they all came back negative.  Im still waiting for a 3 month window to close in order to do an HIV test.  Is it possible that my symptoms are due to an HIV infection - my doctor is saying that they came too early and are probably due to stress about the whole situation.  The older guy by the way looks perfectly healthy though I know that this does not mean anything.

thanks for your comments.

Hey Martie, wht's up?!
First thing, first, forget the symptoms.
Just plain forget it and stp searching for symptoms on GOOGLE.
=)
The only way to diagnose HIV is via a blood test!
Unprotected anal sex does carry a certain amount of risk, thus, you need to be tested.
You can get tested now(try to get your hands on a HIV DUO test-Ag/Ab) and at 3 months to get a final result.
Smile.
Best of luck.
Always use a Condom, frm this point on, ALWAYS.
