Doubt related to hiv/aids

Hi doctor,
In 2017 I had proctected sex with a sex worker twice later I got no ars symptoms both the times after 2 years I got seborrheic dermatitis (not completely sure it's that but have facial dryness) and I have also man boobs( not sure if I got them after exposure maybe I have them from before but they don't hurt when I touch them) recently 1 month back (2023) I got shortness of breath,cough and indigestion and I got CBC test and a chest xray done both are normal but later I got to know I have acid reflux and lost about 8-10 kgs in a month and also noticed my tongue was white and also got diarrhea for a day so I got a hiv rapid blood test done( no exposure to any sexual activities from past 1 year or more) the result turned out to be non reactive felt relaxed But now I'm scared because I found out that hiv test don't detect aids ( final stage of hiv) I'm completely worried now even though hiv rapid blood test, CBC test and my chest xray are normal please help me out

Hi there. So if you had AIDs (you dont), the HIV test would still pick up the HIV itself as  its still there. Often, not always, it will take at least 10 years for the AIDs to set in. Also you state you had protected sex. If it was protected, there is no chance of HIV at all.

Your man boobs, white tongue and dry skin is no symptom of an STI and with a 2 year gap, any symptom would have shown its face by now.

You DO NOT have HIV.

Thanks alot doctor now I’m relaxed i was extremely tensed for the weight loss even though doctor told acid reflux causes weight loss I felt like my body doesn’t produce hiv antibodies anymore   Because I took the test almost after 5-6 years after exposure that’s why my hiv progressed to aids that’s why my rapid blood test came non reactive .Can any of my analysis be true? This would be my last doubt regarding hiv and aids

Your test is conclusive. You do NOT have HIV. You do not have AIDS.
It is long past time to move on from this event.

Sorry for the disturbance doctor but I'm now 99% relieved that I don't have hiv or aids just wanted to ask my last doubt are there any chances of having aids with hiv rapid test result being non reactive after 6 years of exposure.Thanks a lot in advance doctor u have relieved 99% of my tension
