Unclear

To make a long story short, I was tested for HIV in 2008 and the results were negative. I dated a guy for 3 months in 2010 and we had 2 unprotected encounters. Since then I regularly donated Plasma for 3 months (in which I was told is screened for HIV antibodies) before I met my boyfriend. My boyfriend gets tested every year for HIV due to his job and his results were negative each time. We have been together for 1.5 years. He was reading some articles on HIV and has become extremely paranoid and demanded that I get tested. I went to my local health department to get tested and it's been over about a week and I haven't heard anything.....should I be worried?

I asked for rapid results, but the nurse at County stated that I wasnt "high risk". I think it's awful to have to wait that long.

He is paranoid because  he think I may have been exposed by my ex-husband because he would always request anal sex. I had been tested since then and my results were negative. I have moved several times and lost my results. He is always reading articles and the one he read was stating that HIV can lay dormant for years and you never know until years later..etc. I only got tested to ease his mind. I feel I am fine, but because he is so paranoid...he's making me very nervous. I haven't slept good all week, and I'm having real bad anxiety, but thanks a lot for responding back

No, you shouldn't be worried. There can be delays in labs. Why is your boyfriend paranoid .? You guys been tested several times with negative results. Just FYI, always use condoms until you feel comfortable with your partner . But it's a choice only you can make.
