Oral thrush or not? Dr. Didn't test my throat but says it is not oral thrush.

I am a female and I recently performed oral sex on a male. Five days later I am ill with a sore throat my dr does not test me but assumes I strep she gives me a z pack which does not clear it up as I still have white patches in my mouth on both sides of mouth behind my back teeth. I go back she gives me an allergy shot and cedifnir both of which don't work. I go to a different dr I test negative for strep but positive for some yeast in my mouth. She gives me Nystatin swish and swallow which did not clear these patches up. I go to a 3rd dr and after looking in my throat he says I do not have thrush but he went a head and gave me 14 days of fluconazole because I told him I tested positive for yeast. He also gave me sudafed, prescription Zyrtec and nasal spray I'm on day 4 of all these meds and I still have the spots and now I have scalloped tongue.  He said the patches which are whitish gray and are smooth and elongated and do look like drainage are only mucus from sinus drainage. However they are not going away and I've tried scraping them off they are firmly adhered to my mouth. I also have yellowish gunk going down the back of my throat. What could this be? Why can't I get rid of it? Also I had been on antibotics a week before the sexual encounter and had gone to the dentist for work on my teeth as well and had also started using a mouthwash and have never used one before. What could it be? Which if any of these factors contributed to this infection? What should be my next course of action? Biopsy? Throat culture? Also these patches are not sore and I feel great otherwise. Thanks for your help I'm very worried. I had a negative hiv test after sex with a couple of men 3 months after last sexual encounter. Should I get test again since I have had unprotected oral sex twice since then?

Oral is not a risk for HIV. The science is 40 years old and very well established, so you can rule that out, not matter what condition your mouth was in at the time of the oral. No one in history got HIV from oral.

Since this is an HIV forum and your remaining questions are about std, you might check out the std forum.
