Deeply Worried

Hi, I was drunk and went out with a guy of unknown HIV status [I know, a really stupid thing to do]. I was a virgin at the time of this incident and he tried to penetrate several times but did not work since i was too tight for him. There was also some fingering and oral sex involved. I dont remember if there was any pre-cum or ejaculation at that time. If there was, or was not, what is the possibility of HIV transmission in this case? Thank you for taking time out to answer.

Thanks,
Deeply Worried

Hi - there was no full penetration for sure. Its really worrying me considering the minimal penetration which he was trying repeatedly. Could there be a possibility in such case? Thanks once again.

Only you would know, there would be no "might have", "maybe" or "what ifs."

Thank you!

1) but i was wondering because there were multiple attempts to penetrate, there might have been a length of penis that would have been inserted. Could that pose any risk considering pre-ejaculation or ejaculation present? I do remember it was hurting bad and i had to stop the guy from inserting any further. So, as far as i remember there was very minimal insertion.

2) Anything other than full penetration, to a greater extent, is not going to contribute to any transmission? Is this correct?

3) Oral and other modes of activities are low-risk, hence that would really not contribute to any transmission as well. Right?

I have read articles and other responses which detail that the transmission occurs when there is a direct route via the mucous membrane in the vagina. Considering that i do understand the risk is less but i just needed a response from someone who knows it all because its worrying me sick.

I really appreciate your time and help! Thanks again!

If  you were never penetrated you never had an exposure.
