Hiv??

karan1985.2011Dear medhelp members...
I am in a very confused state and i would like your suggestion on my condition.I had a potentional
encounter 4 months ago and since then i have been facing numerous health issues especially related to my GI tract.I got tested
at 6.5 weeks , 11.3 weeks and 15 weeks for hiv and all the three times the result is negative. But i have severe health concerns
for which i get no diagnosis yet..is it necessary to go for another test at 6 months or for a pcr test now to confirm my hiv status.
I was diagonsied with IBS(doc was not sure because i didnt tell about hiv and he thought IBS may be reason ).But i get  bloody
motions which IBS cant cause. Please help me what to do next and get me out of this situation.

If your not willing to except a negative test result at 15 weeks post-exposure then your problem isn,t with hiv but rather with paranoia.

No doctor that knew anything about HIV would tell you to take a WB test. Move along.

kindly move along...you do not have a hiv concern.   your tests PROVES, without a doubt, that you do not have hiv ! ! !

A negative hiv test result at 15 weeks is both conclusive and final. If you are going to insist on the 6 Month outdated window period then you are just going to waste another 3 Months of your life for nothing. You tested conclusively negative, you need to accept that.

Unless your a chemotherapy patient,A chronic iv drug user or transplant patient on meds then the 6Month window period does not apply to you.The 6 Month window period was changed to 3 Months back in 2004,because of better, more modern testing.Your doctors information is outdated. And on top of all of that you never had an exposure.
