Raju Bhai,
Not just a BLOOD TEST, but a test specifically for HIV 1/2. An HIV ANTIBODY TEST is required.  A normal blood test, a CBC will not give you your status / results. So ask your doctor for an HIV antibody test (preferably a 3rd generation or 4th generation "DUO" test.
Wishing you luck.

Yes Raju, a blood test for antibodies using a 3rd generation HIV TEST for HIV 1 / 2 or a 4th Generation DUO test (for antigen and antibody) will suffice.  They say 6-8 weeks after an exposure is good indication of your status, and 12 to 13 weeks will give you your conclusive results. Be safe and take care.
