Hiv from receiving oral sex

Hello, about 10 days ago I received oral sex from a transsexual prostitute, who I believe is high risk ( she was very cheap). She admitted she is a drug user but is clean. She also had recently relocated from Atlanta which is a known for a high percentage of hiv positive people. I did not notice any bumps or cuts on her lips or gums. The oral encounter lasted about 2 to 3 minutes. That was the only sexual encounter, is their a legit possibility to have acquired hiv from her? Thank you.

I'm happy to address your concerns. Let's assess your risk:
oral sex is considered to be negligible risk, which means that although there is a potential for HIV transmission because there is an change of bodily fluids, there has never been a confirmed report of acquiring HIV through oral sex.Saliva contains an enzyme that actually breaks down HIV, making it unable to be transmitted.

Would you recommend a hiv test for this encounter?

Thank you for answering. So, in short I don't require hiv testing for this encounter?

That's correct -- no risk, no test.  We wish you well.
