What are the chances of getting HIV from one single act of unprotected anal?

I had unprotected anal sex with a 20 year old and he ejaculated inside of me. I later got the semen out about 45 minutes later. About a month later I got a sore throat, headache, loss of appetite, muscle aches and weakness, and a temperature of 99.2. This sickness went away after five days but also an exact week before I gave a guy unprotected oral sex. I'm not sure how I got sick but I'm extremely scared that I have HIV. Someone please help!!!

Don't take a non-fixed partner's words even if he looks honest because who knows? Just go test and have it safe the next time.

Dont ever go by symptoms. They can miss lead you.  Only by a test results at 3 months. You had a high risk (anal sex) get tested in 3 months. And from now on use condoms. Be safe.

The only way you are going to know your status is by testing.

He says that hes clean and he said that if I had HIV he didn't think he would wanna have sex with me again when I asked him bout his HIV status. Does it mean he usually uses protection?

1:200 or even less is when the other person is infected. So, if you don't know that guy's status (whether he is pos or neg) don't worry very much, do as I did, after unprotected vaginal sex test at 6 weeks mark for the piece of mind and then get conslusive 12 week test.

.....And oral sex doesn't count as exposure so you should get tested 3 months after the unprotected anal intercourse for a conclusive result.

I do believe the approx risk in 1:200, however a risk is a risk, and unfortunately you engaged in one of the highest risk exposures there is.

You need to have an HIV test at 3 months post the exposure to ensure you didn't get infected.  Your "symptoms" are not an indicator of anything.

From here on out, you need to commit to using condoms 100% of the time for this type of activity.
