What immune disorders effect window period?

I had a negative HIV test 4 months past unsafe vaginal sex (white male of unknown status).  I was trusting of this until I read some conditions can effect the window period. I have thyroid antibodies and a benign nodules but have been taking low dose synthroid and all function is/has been normal.  I normally have a great immune system (not sick or tired or having any thyroid disease symptoms) so do I qualify as "normal" immune system?  Do thyroid issues, even if under control, effect the window period and make it longer like out to 6 months?

we state this REPEATEDLY on this forum:

the only ppl who may need to test out to six months are those with a SEVERELY compromised immune system.  this includes ppl who are on chemotherapy, anti-rejection drugs following an organ transplant, and CHRONIC, LONG TERM iv drug abusers.

other than those in any of those groups...3 months is conclusive

Thanks Lizzie - I didn't see what mahigga posted, I guess it was deleted.
I had a contact with someone from the CDC who basically said that chronic Hep C, transplant medications specifically targeting the immune system to avoid rejection, chemotherapy, etc. count as "severely compromised immune system" which could result in delayed antibody production.  So for anyone reading this - this is coming from the CDC and they are pretty much settled on the 3 month window being conclusive for most people who are not in this sort of situation.  This makes me feel better (and certainly I hope it does for others as well).

mahigga is dead wrong.

your test at 4 months PROVES that you dont have hiv.  your thyroid issues dont affect your test or window period.

accept your negative status and move on with your life.
