What is wrong w/ me???
Aug 15: unprotected oral, vaginal, brief anal w/ uncircumsized male living in texas. a few days later, very stiff neck, fatigue, minor chills, no other flu symptoms. then itching/ tingling/sharp pains senstation began in genitals, and diagnosed with yeast infection. took both diflucan, itching and pain stopped, tingling continued. no external sores appeared, but i did have bright red blood in my stool on a couple occassions, had colonoscopy, which showed no problems, doc said must've been from a hemmorhoid, never had hemmorhoids before but i have also been constipated since the exposure.
was tested for HIV, HSV, chlam and ghon at 4 weeks, all negative. after receiving my results the tingling stopped, which leads me to believe it was from stress. over past few weeks i seem to have redeveloped the pain (no tingling or itching) in my genitals...pap showed no signs of yeast. i also have been having pain in my joints (mostly stffness/and "clicking" sound) but no swelling or anything. i feel like i'm forgetting some symptoms, but either way....i'm really scared about syph and HIV (no syph test was done at 4 weeks), it's now been almost 10 weeks and i am waiting for 12 weeks to retest...in the meantime i am going nuts. could these symptoms all be related to my severe anxiety about all this? if so, what could explain the stiff neck/fatigue/chills in august? the timing of those symptoms seems like more than a coincidence, i've never had a stiff neck like that, nor chills in the middle of the summer.

I am in your situation and just want this to be over. Will post my situation for some help.
Nothing "Sounds like HIV" as no symptom is a reliable indicator. The mixuture of symptoms doesnt sound like ARS either (THe flu like illness due to early HIV infection) as you dont have a fever.
Your partner is probably low risk anyway, altough unprotected anal and vaginal are quite high risk (as im sure you know), the chances your partner is infected are low.
