lymph nodes

dear all
can some body tell me what is a lymphnode and how does it look like physically it sounds stupid but i really dont know so pls tell me
secondly where are lymphnode journly found on body exzample like in neck or back

Hi there,

If you are suspects your nodes are swelling, you should go see a doctor.  The doctor will be able to dignose if they are swelling.

Also, the nodes will get tender( apinful) to touch if we keep  "touching", "pinching", "measuring" them.

When i thought I was risk I went to google images an looked up lymph nodes and I got some really good images.
i don't know what they feel like when you have ARS so I can't help you there.Ask Teak
But again my nodes under my jaws, armpits and groin were really swollen for two weeks but I am HIV negative. So i guess symptoms don't mean anything.

You can feel them even when they arent swollen but when they are swollen they are larger and easier to fell.

Maybe you should ask this in a different forum for a better explanation.

Neck, armpit, and groin. If they are swollen up you will be able to feel them easily.
