Wondering if I'm at risk..

Hi all..

Not sure how to start this off but here it goes..in February of this year, I met a guy, one thing led to another and I ended up giving him oral for around a minute. He didn't ejaculate. Since then I've been worried that I might have caught something from him, especially HIV because I don't know his status, and I can't contact him to ask.

I've been looking online, which is probably making me even more worried - I've read that feeling tired for no reason, depression and memory loss could be down to having HIV, but seeing as I have narcolepsy..being tired, and memory loss could also be down to that..I think I've been depressed on and off for a long time.

I guess, I just need some advice..like..does anyone here think that I might be at risk?

Any advice would be appreciated..thanks in advance

Hm..so it would be a waste of time to get tested? I wouldn't want to waste NHS resources..but I've read that if you think you've been exposed, you should get tested?

I really don't want to convince myself that I don't have anything, then find out in a few years time that I do..

from the expert forum here:

There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex.  The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way.  Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk".  There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
DR. HANSFIELD

"And oral sex is basically safe sex -- completely safe with respect to HIV and although not zero risk for other STDs, the chance of infection is far lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex.  Please educate yourself about the real risks.  If you stick with oral sex and condom-protected vaginal or anal sex, you have no HIV worries and very little worry about other STDs. "   DR HANSFIELD

"I am sure you can find lots of people who belive that HIV is transmitted by oral sex, but you will not find scientific data to support this unrealistic concern..."   DR HOOK

"HIV is not spread by touching, masturbation, oral sex or condom protected sex."- DR. HOOK

in the public HIV Prevention forum of MedHelp, TEAK and the other moderators maintain that oral sex in all forms is a zero risk activity. Would you agree with this assessment?
I TOTALLY AGREE / DR GARCIA

The observation on thousand and thousand of observations is that HIV is not spread by oral sex (of any sort).  DR. HOOK

Okay, so I've read some forum posts, and I seem to be reading the same 2 words over and over again..''no risk''

So would it be a waste of time getting tested?

I don't mean to be annoying..just want to be 100% clear
