4generation test at 31/2 months

I had unprotected varginal, anal and oral sex with CWS in Thailand 3 and half months ago. We have a deep kissing as well. I had ARS symptons such like rash, joint pain, sore throat, stomach pain and diarrhea after 11/2 month post exposure. I am still expericing this till today. I took 4th generation(antibody&P24) test at 31/2 post exposure and it came back negative.

a) As i know, antigen p24 is not able to detect a hiv virus after a month post exposure. So, my question is can i still believe i'm negtive? Will the 4th generation as accurate as 3rd generation antibody at 31/2 months post exposure?

b) Shall I retest at 6 months because some website is still insist to retest at 6 months? Please do not get angry for my stupid qeustion because i am still suffering for there ARS symptom (mild body/joint ache, stomach pain and lost stool, throat pain and some rash on my chest, stomach and my back. Some healed rash turned to brownish/dark color.

Please.....please...please....am very tense and struggling now..................

No HCV will not delay the seroconversion. You don't have HIV.

I had checked for hep A & B and both turned out negative. havn't checked for hep C. My question is will hep c delays sero more tha 3 months???

last question, will ARS symptom last for so long? start 11/2months and on and off till 31/2 months?

thank

Then you don't have an immune disease that would call for you to test longer than 3 months. You are conclusively negative.

I need your assessment

Really need your assessment. How accurate is 4th generation at 31/2 months while I have bad immue system and ARS symptons?

3 months is 100% conclusive and has been since 2004.

A test at 3.5 months is 99.6% conclusive. A test at 6 months is 99.9% conclusive. If you test negative at 3 months you are fine if you are a healthy individual. Unless you have some other diseases that could affect your immune system, it would be conclusive at 3 months. Test again at 6 if you are still concerned. Most people should show results within 4-6 weeks according to the CDC. No need to worry.

Has nothing to do with HIV. See your doctor if you are concerned about your weight loss.

4th generation tests are combos. They test for Ag and Ab and you have a conclusive test result at 3.5 months and do not need further testing.
