Hello
I used to go with csw in various clubs one a months and this has been so for many years now.
In 2010 i had a condom broke and was under Pep (vaginal course with thai sex worker) and i followed the guidelines received by hiv specialist. Everyhtihing was negativ after that sad episode.
I am still going to clubs with girls ( do not make usage of drugs nor do i do any anal things). I always make use of condoms but now i that freaking feeling of the what is there a little hole, a breach i haven't been aware of....
I'm now convinced I may have catch something, plus I had a very bad flue, bronchitis but no rash last winter, with high Fever.
Anyways, I decided, to run some rapid hiv test. The one I used had a wrong notice in the box, it said to add 2 drops of buffer solution when the producer claims one should add 4 drops. Brand is sd bioline poct.
Rapidly the C line appeared but far at the left of the enclosure, not aligned with the C written on the box. Does it mean it is invalid? Imagine the stess of such stupid situation! I should have read directly on the web site! I read that on some test any lines appearing outside the control area is invalid, ok but how to define that control area? Again this situation is not described in the manual but i read that on other brands. Usually, no c line at all or just at test or blank.
1. Do you think i'm at risk with my use of csw every month? I used condoms but what if? I had a condom broke experience and know how dangerous it could be
2. 2 drops of buffers solution only when 4 were asked, does it make a difference?
3. Is my test invalid as my c line appears at the far left of the enclosure or is it just the band not clearly aligned with the tags?
Feel lost and steess, any help, advice would be grealty appreciated!
Thank you
