Wondering for my sanity

Unprotected sex exactly 60 days ago. Guy says his HIV status is negative. I was the bottom. I have been diagnosed with general anxiety disorder (over this situation) and have been spazzing about the ordeal. It was STUPID...so I dont need to hear those comments. I realize that.

I was tested at 1 week, at 4 weeks, 6 weeks and 3 days shy of my 8 weeks. I think I have gone a little overboard with testing...but in my state it is free, so I am going to use the resources. All of them have come back negative.

5 days after possible exposure I started with my anxiety. Everything from chest pain to night sweats to dry mouth, dry tongue, and fatigue. I attributed them all to HIV so I started freaking even more until I was put on Lexapro. Everything went away but the Night Sweats and the Dry Tongue. I went off the Lexapro and the Night Sweats went away.

The dry, white tongue the pain in my arm pits, my sinus congestion, and a general sense of "blah"ness...just wont go away. As I have stated before it has been 60 days (8 weeks, 4 days) is the only thing that does not come and go away. I've had about 5 different phsyicians look at it and all of them say...looks normal to me. It's not thrush. I attribute it to my system being out of whack, but I dont really know for sure...do any of these sound like acute symptoms to anyone?

Also, my test result at 53 days (7 weeks, 4 days) was negative.

Is the combination of mild anxiety, my sinuses causing my craziness?

Also, once you show symptoms of HIV infection wouldn't your test results then be positive?

ARS, if applicable at all in this situation, would not occur this late.
Since you tested nearly 8 weeks post-exposure, you can breathe a sigh of relief.
Considering the high-risk encounter, "I" would test @ 3 months as suggessted by regularjoe.
MORE than likely the result will be negative,

PLEASE learn from this experience....keep condoms handy dude.

An HIV test usually goes positive at most 2-3 weeks since the onset of symptoms.
Your 53 day test pretty much proves that you are HIV negative.
I would recommend that you get another test after the 3 month mark, just because it's the CDC recommendation, but expect a negative result from your test now.
