Luckily, you were smart and wore protection. Which, as the term "protected sex" implies, protected you from any number of STIs, including, but not limited to, HIV. The fact that your penis may have been bleeding slightly *inside* of the condom did not increase your risk at all. After all, it was inside the condom, which formed a barrier to any infectious fluids that you may have come into contact with.
In short, given the nature of the events that you have described, you have nothing to be concerned about here, nothing at all. You were protected, and thus could not have acquired HIV from this woman (assuming she even had HIV).
As others have suggested, feel free to test if this is bothering you, but you would only be doing so for peace of mind, not because there is any chance you contracted HIV. Your test, should you choose to take one, will surely be negative.
Thanks Teak.. Appriciate your help.. Have been getting really stressed after reading about HIV symptoms on the net last week.... Cos, thinking back i remember having a really sore throat a few days after my night of passion and flu a couple of months later. I'll still get tested though for peace of mind... Plus she was a Thai sex worker, based in a nightclub/brothel.. so still worried....
cheers again

Go ahead and get tested and collected your negative result. You were not at risk.
cheers, Bleeding due to problem i'm having with the old banjo string when it gets stretched. I think it must have happened when she put the condom on.
protected sex is protected sex...dont know why your penis was bleeding. if the condom had ripped...you would have known it.
