Its confusing me.

Good day sir/ ma'am

I was yawning all morning at our school and there are few susceptible persons around the area. I didn't cover my mouth when yawning (my mouth is wide open when yawning). I felt a fluid that came into my mouth, I don't know if its blood or saliva or I dunno. I have a non bleeding wound inside my mouth 2 days ago due to having braces in my teeth. I didn't taste any blood but its been confusing me. I know that saliva has enzymes that prevents hiv transmission. If the fluid that got into my mouth has saliva and blood is from an hiv positive person does the saliva still have the enzymes? Am I at risk? my wound in my mouth still stings whenever I touch it using my hand or tongue but it hasn't been bleeding for 2 days.

Sir teak

1.) I've found that if you'll be infected with hiv through mouth by blood on food etc, you must at least taste blood. I didn't taste blood so its no risk?

2.) Can a non bleeding cut in the mouth that hasn't bled for 2 days but still stings be a route for hiv?

I'm sorry for unescessary questions but answers to this will really ease my mind. please help really scared.

Saliva is not infectious and your thinking is totally irrational.Forget it ever happened. You're safe.
