Help!! Test, ARS and risk!!!

Hi doc! I`m going to explain the situation. A little time than one month ago i had top anal intercouse with a gay like me and the condom was broke, but i didn`t notice it. 20 days later in my penis grown a sore what a doc said was genital herpes and he prescribed to me acyclovir. Appears that is not my first herpes sore but was stronger than never.

Since the last week i have been feel it so tired, body pain, headache, whith an inguinal pain node (i supose is for the herpes?), a mild sore troath, pain in my back ear that combines left and right side … and I am soooo nervous…..

At 30 days from the risk i got a EIA and VDRL test. Negative for both of them.

Mi questions are:
1.- my simptoms could be ARS? Even beyond the 4 week from my risk?
2.- herpes could be “activated” by ARS?
3.- How accuracy and optimistic is the negative EIA at 30 day?
4.- acyclovir can be delay the results or affect the test?

Thank you for the answer!!! I`m saying hello from Mèxico!!

You can obtain your conclusive negative test result 3 months post exposure.

Really is that i`m so nervous and full of worry and just went today to other lab at 5 week from the risk interocurse to new combo elisa 4th generation with Ag p24. Both came negative.

In your experience; this result could be more encouraging that the elisa test at 30 days??

Thaks a lot for your support.

Greetings from Mèxico
