condom tear

Greetings. I met a waitress at a bar and i took her home. During sex, i felt a pop and immediately pulled out. I noticed a small tear at the tip of the condom. At the time i asked her about her HIV/STD status, she said she was clean so i changed condoms and continued. Now im worried. What is the risk of getting hiv from the time i felt the tear and withdrew. about a second passed  from the tear to pull out. Its been a week and its on my mind alot.

Thanks teak and lanvin for your comments. I guess ill have to wait till the results. Just had a flight physical with a negative hiv test 3 days prior. If these results come back positive my illustrious career and life as i know it is for ever changed. I pray to god that everything comes back negative. I was practicing safe sex but as i found out, it's not enough. Sex at this point seems over rated. People if you hear me, please take sex and risky behavior seriously. All it takes is one minor exposure. All, please protect yourselves. On that note i'm going to light a cigar, sip some wine, grab my electric guitar and play smells like teen spirit while i ponder.

Theres no way to know what the exact risk is, all we can do is say whether there was any risk or not and if the condom broke then theres a risk.

Yeah that's true, but i have to wait a little while. I was just wondering the level of risk while waiting for optimum test time.

The only way to know your status is by testing.
