confused about hiv test
What is an Ac Anti Hiv duo test ?
After how much time after last exposure can i take it and trust the results . I am going crazy reading everywhere and my doctor told me i have to wait 6 months to be sure about the results ?? i have read it is a fourth generation hiv test but why do i have to wait so long . i did the test after one month of exposure negative ! i can not be in peace with myself i am stressing out and lost sleep . help help

i hope so i dont have any symptoms neither but for security i will do one tomorrow at almost week 7 and then i will stop worrying . thx for answering
