could it be HIV !!!?
i'm so afraid of doing the HIV test , but i have to do it because i can't live in this nightmare forever,,,
i had sex with a CSW last november , she told me that she is free of any std or hiv, since then i don't feel well at all,
i had also a fever like symptoms, headache, joints pain, muscle pain, Rash on my chest ( last for 30 min at least ) also i had a painful sore throat (lasts till now),Swollen lymph nodes on my neck ( lasts till now ),
i made many CBC it all come normal , she even show me her HIV test results ( actually she have 2 test result , she made one test every 3 months ) all are negative ,for February she had a rapid test which were negative , also she showed me November one ( it was a ELISA test , also negative ).
i'm so afraid to have the test , those symptoms are there for 3 months now , the Rash comes & goes for about (30 min ) or maybe less (is this normal)?
what shall i do guys, please let me know , i'm dying of anxiety over here :( i just want my old life back

Enough, go get your test and be done with it. You've been on this forum long enough to get test and obtain your test results. Nex post we see from you should be your test results.

I had unprotected sex one-time with a former highschool sweetheart about two years ago. After about five months, I came done with a cold which lasted about a week and a severe case of hives on my back which would not go away until my doctor put me on steroids. In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results

you know what Teak , they always say this to every body, they say 3 months is a good indicator only , don't know why , but this is so common in most of the laps, (( YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW UP BY 6 MONTHS) THIS IS THE FAMOUS QUOTE THERE.

3 months post exposure is when it will be conclusive. The doctor needs to update his testing skills.

this is update from me regarding my test Results,
i went today morning to the Clinic , they are doing here hiv rapid test , they take ablood from my arm,it went fine,
i called them a few minutes ago to know the results , it is Negative , :)
i know it is not conclusive because i asked the doctor there about when it will be conclusive , he answered after 6 months period, Which i think will be in May 23 for me , but i wish it is a good indicator :)

thank you so much for your help,i will take the test & i will update here if it is OK to the forum rules,
just one last final question : 3 months is conclusive with any of those tests , i mean if i take any it will be conclusive after the 3 months period , no need to repeat it later, i've read in some sites that 6 months is conclusive not 3 as medhelp always say :(

Sorry to repeat the same question over & over,
but.. How is the HIV rash look like?,is it lasts only for a few minutes?
is it normal to have a sore throat & swollen lymph nodes in the same time of the ars?,

Do u think that the Rash can last for a few minutes then gone,
also is the HIV rash comes & goes every day or two,
how about the swollen lymph nodes, is it normal (hiv symptom) to be swollen for more than 3 months now,with the sore throat (hard to swallow).
One Last Thing : i have a pain in my elbow,some times on my shoulders & neck. :(
