why did the doctor say no more testing was required after the 8.5 week negative result??

3 months is the guidelines and there are no tests approved to give one a conclusive negative test result earlier than 3 months.

no i was talking about a thread on the doctors forum on this site. someone wrote they tested negative at 8.5 weeks and the doc said no more testing.

Ask your doctor. Sounds like he doesn't know what he's talking about. You just said he said 6 months.
