cuts on scrotum

I was with a CSW and I only had protected vaginal intercourse. The condom stayed intact and I wasn't worried about it protecting me. On the other hand I had a trimming accident 36 hours prior to the sex act on my scrotum. I believe it bled just a bit, but no blood was dropping, just a small nick. I double checked afterwards to see if there was anything different. No blood and it didn't hurt, it was still bruised though. Bruising freaked me out a little.

Is there a minimum time for a wound to close so that viruses like HIV can't find it's way into my blood stream?

Do you think 36 hours is enough time for a small nick/cut to close, and I would be safe if vaginal fluid came in contact with it.

I also would like to know if I should even get tested for HIV given the circumstances.
