HIV possibility, any help appreciated
I have been on before about this exposure. I had one night unprotected sex with female. Still in contact and she says although she has never been tested, she is not the sleep around type and has no STD's (which I know you can never truely trust) Never thought of HIV but I got a very bad sore throat and fever for 2 days soon after coupled with thrush of the penis and stomach pains. Once these went away I then developed an extremely white tongue which goes when I brush it but comes back very soon after and is still there now.
That is now my only symptom and after 5 weeks I tested negative for any STD's including HIV but have not been back since and my exposure was now 13 weeks ago. The negative result eased my anxiety but obviously I know it was not conclusive that early. I am pretty frightened about going back, took so much to do it the first time and im not sure I can do it again. Massive fear of needles coupled with not wanting to go through it again and probably denial are stopping me.
If anyone with any knowledge of the infection can help me in anyway, either by telling me my chances or by giving me any information it would be greatly appreciated, if not thanks for reading anyway and hopefully I can get over this somehow

the doc would say 1in 2000 but with a 5 week negative the odds are really on your side that you will stat that way just get tested and move on

What shadow said is 100% true. We never know untill we test..Everyone is feared to go through the needle but still we need to do it. I am on my way to 8 week test today and believe me my nerves are still shaking but i cant help it. Just being positive. Ur way to 13 mark which i am eagerly waiting for and believe me --u would be safe and take the courage for one last time. I am sure ur 100% negative..God Bless--
why not test to ease your fears thats the only way you will have a conclusive now and move on and anyway dont read symptoms thats a downfall trust me just get tested
