teen; hiv and oral

okay, so roughly a year and a bit ago, i gave a man a blowjob, im a teen male, healthy, with no other health issues. i regret it due to the fact i didnt make sure he was negative. so im unaware if he was actually hiv positive. i want to know the odds i may have contracted it. i read some of the forums but i dont believe it to be impossible to not contract via oral. am i justified by being worried?

Oral sex is not a risk of HIV. Use condoms for oral sex to protect against other STD.

"And oral sex is basically safe sex -- completely safe with respect to HIV and although not zero risk for other STDs, the chance of infection is far lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex.  Please educate yourself about the real risks.  If you stick with oral sex and condom-protected vaginal or anal sex, you have no HIV worries and very little worry about other STDs.
