Stress can make you urinate way more frequently than you normally would.
I had the same thing when I felt very anxious.

Teak, I guess I've also been on these forums long enough too to know that symptoms don't mean anything, but your response has made me more curious about my own symptoms...

So to repeat with more detail, 4.5 weeks after my exposure, I got a rash (raised red spots) on my chest, stomach, neck, lasted for 3-4 days and then flattened and then you could hardly make them out 3 days later unless you looked real hard. Some itched a bit some didn't. At first I thought maybe bed bugs and I applied antiitch cream, but then the HIV scare got into me and I started looking at Internet sites (around 3rd day of rash). Bang on target, I got a fever the same day which lasted 8-9 days (I took Ibuprofen last 2-3 days). So it looks like the rash and fever disappeared at different times. I never measured the temp but I felt hot across the stomach and face most times, but could still go out and about (not confined to bed). Is ARS fever always high fever that you can't get out of bed?

Around the day after the fever started (5 wks post exposure), I started having frequent urination. This is still going on today a good 3 weeks later (now 8 wks post exposure). I don't know if this is due to stress. Can stress trigger frequent urination in just a day or two after the stress started? Frequency and amount varies every day.

I have many more symptoms but just working with this info, if the fever went after 8-9 days, would that mean the antibodies had come into play (if I were positive, God forbid) to finally cure it? If so, wouldn't they also cure the frequent urination / UTI infection at the same time if this was a related symptom? Or do the antibodies only stop further infection (and healing takes longer?) Can I rule out the UTI out as stress related? How long do symptoms typically last?

Unlimited thanks again for your patience and help. I know it's a lot of questions and it sounds like I am being unreasonable since apparently I should have zero risk, but seeing and feeling all these symptoms on my own body in the window period - well it is pretty overwhelming even against reason. f anything, hopefully these questions and answers will help others wondering the same (like joecool!).

joe, you've been here long enough to know that symptoms don't mean anything when it comes to diagnosing HIV and yes the rash if you have ARS leaves all at the sametime with the other symptoms.
