HIV worries over

Thanks to everyone that had help me whith my past situation.  To confirm that I am HIV negative I took an expensive PCR DNA HIV test, which looks for the virus instead of the antibodies. I came back negative. I can continue living my life now not in fear. This is probably the best day of my life. Thanks guys everyone is awesome

No they are not aproved for diagnostic, but it is indeed conclusive after 15 days.

PCR DNA test is not an FDA approved diagnostic test in the US.

No Alien, sorry to disagree the PCR DNA test is conclusive after 15 days of exposure, the problem with that test is that it gaves 2-8% false positive, its the same used on pooled samples to test  blood around the world in the countries where NAAT is not available, so he is 100% conclusive if he took the test 2 weeks after exposure.

But is needed to say that is not recomended for routine evaluation since it has a big rate of false positive, its price and some other technical issues, but once is done a negative would be conclusive after 15 days.
