false negatives?

after unprotected sex with a man unknown status, then starting 2 weeks later getting every symptom associated with hiv i have tested negative upto 12 weeks, but i now have an enlarged liver and spleen and severe abdominal pain plus swollen lymh nodes. do these new symptoms prove the tests i have taken are false negatives? i have 3rd generation 4th generation and rapid tests upto 84 days. could i be infected but not producing antibodies?

I disagree, you will be surprised. Get checked for other health isuuses.

Everything may point to HIV but up to 84 days you are suggesting HIV testing doesn't work. It's been said to be the most advanced testing of all.

I hope you can find what up and find peace.

It could be so many things and even if catching a common cold you have all this worry and anxiety, you will be sick and everything will point to all viruses/diseases under the sun.

Step by step work on getting back to healthy habbits, like no stress, get sleep. It will all help.

it is hard to believe that with all the pain that i am in, i have had 3 months of ongoing illnesses from sinus infection to thrush to shingles to now have enlarged liver and spleen. Every thing started since this incident! What else could it be? i have just been reading the forum on epsten barr virus, could any of my symptoms be associated with that?

By 84 days, any test you use will be positive. You are HIV negative.
