Seek professional mental help. You are beyond the scope of help that an HIV forum can provide.
Sorry to bother again
will be 4 weeks after the cuts happens in next week, still a little worried for the unknown cuts and possible exposure,
should i get tested? Can Teak/Liz/nursegirl help me to decide?
thanks for your coach, your word is great help.
thanks for your kindly reply, wish you all good
A paper cut is not an open wound. An open wound is a deep cut in the skin that is bleeding profusely and requires stitches or else you would die from bleeding to death. If you had an open wound you would know the difference between that and a superficial cut.
Thats correct--you never had a risk.
Thank you and webbers, I want to know the potential risk from scientic respect first then I will try to management my emotion and thinking from anxiety and guilty.
Please coach me what is "open wound" that can cause blood exchange and infection? I was not bleeding and didnt touch any other's fluid, is that means i was not in risk?
Totally irrational thinking,HIV becomes inactive once exposed to air, also transmission takes place inside the body not outside it.You would know if someone stuck you with a syringe,it would be obvious. Please stop worrying,it's not justified.
I'm not going to perpetuate your irrational phobia by answering a what if question that is so completely off the wall. The fact is that you got a paper cut from handling documents because it's winter time and your skin is dry. That's it. Use hand lotion, dont play with paper anymore, and you won't have that problem again.
