How are you so sure these people were HIV positive? They very well could have been negative.

I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. 25 days is a little over 3 weeks and is a bit reassuring as the vast majority of infected people will test positive by 4 weeks. But to know your status for certain, you will need to test again at 3 months.

Or, as the above poster said, the DUO test is extremely accurate at 4 weeks, which means you could wait a few more days, get this test done, and if negative be highly, highly reassured that your result when you go for your 3 months will NOT change.

Hi i'm sorry to hear what happened, I am not sure what test you had but 25 days or where you are in the world? but 25 days is way to soon. i know here in the UK they do a duo test p24 which is 99.89% accurate after 28 days but they always say to follow it up?
