hiv and cunnilingus

hello. i performed oral sex on a working girl. 17 days later i began to have muscles aches a minor sore throat down deep in my throat and severe sweating. i had night sweats three days. two consecutive and one a couple of days later. i never had a fever no swollen lymph nodes and no rash. from what i have read those are the three most common symptoms. these lasted 9 days, the tenth day i felt just fine with no symptoms whats so ever. my questions are these. do the symptoms just stop like that? is not having a fever and rash and swollen nymph glands a good sign? admittedly many of these could have been brought on by the stress and worry of concern. there is one last question. this site i know has the opinion that oral sex has no risk of exposure. i have poor oral health and i have no idea of the women's status. i have looked all over the internet and have found no other site that says that orall sex is a no risk event. why do you take this stance. i want to trust in what you say so i can stop worrying but need some facts. thank you for all your help i am really worried about this

Of course they were missing as you had no risk.

Thank you for your reply. I will be getting tested for piece of mind but feel much better now. I would like to bother you with a couple of more questions and then will leave you in piece. If this had been a high risk episode would it have been encouriging to have not had a fever or rash? It seems to me anytime your immune system is attacked that a fever would be present. Also the three most comm9n symptoms were missing. Fever rash and severe sore throat. Would this also have been encouriging? Thank you so much for your time. Giving people the true facts on this confusing subject is so very important

Most sites are either covering their butts or just won't give absolutes.  We are confident in our opinions here based on SCIENCE and the two expert doctors here in this forum.

There is no data that CONFIRMS oral sex is a risk for HIV.  Cunnilingus falls into this category.
