HIV Transmission from a Hand Job

Dear Dr. Handsfield,

Warm Greetings!

Please accept my many apologies to bother you. I have been reading your forum on HIV for the past few days and I found that very informative. However I seek your permission to put few questions regarding myself via email. And, I sincerely apologise once again for not using your regular website forum to discuss on this matter.

Even though I am also a medical doctor I would still like to seek a convincing answer from the expert in the field like you.

Dr. Handsfield, last Thursday I did a terrible mistake (as I was very drunk) by allowing an escort do a "hand job" without a condom. She used the hotel body lotion for lubrication. She even asked me to offer the "oral" but I did not allow her for that. And I hope she did not do the oral without my consent, otherwise she would have charged me extra couple hundred dollars for the oral.

My questions are

1. Does hand job really transmit HIV?

2. In my case I am little worried as my penis is UNcircumscribed.

3. Is there any risk even if she had any cuts or vaginal fluids on her hands or I might have any microscopic tears in my glans while she was performing the hand job on me?

4. Do I need HIV test?

5. Can I resume a Sex Life with my wife now, which I am holding making excuses?

6. Within 24 hrs I even started the PEP but the side effects are killing me.

Sir, I am extremely worried and I am not able to pay any attention to my regular duties. I cry a lot in isolation. Please help me out.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you so much.

Best Regards,

Anil Moreo

Hello
I wish to ask whether the glans and inner foreskin are also as permeable and as the urethra and are they also considered mucous membrane? What if, hypothetically, blood is poured over the foreskin and glans?

Regards

Vikram

That doesn't make sense. How can it be irrational and be right? It's irrational thinking because who would ever do that to begin with, secondly, you are wrong because HIV can't remain active outside the body and therefore can't infect you.Transmission of the HIV virus can only take place inside the body not outside it.
