1. what are the differnce between thous tests?

1. ELISA checks for antibodies. DUO checks for antigens and antibodies with the same test.
2. No DUO test are not available in the US. Reason being, of no beneficial use.

Duo test also looks for p24 antigen as well as antibodies. The p24 antigen appears before the formation of antibodies and so the duo test is extremely promising if given at four and six weeks.

Both are antibody tests, HIV 1/2 test is a rapid test; both will provide you with a conclusive result after 12 weeks. Medication for Anxiety and depression will not affect your test results.
