hiv food risk

I was eating sushi with a friend the other night, we were sitting at the bar finished a meal, then i decided to have one more item, after i ordered i noticed that the chef had cut him self and was aplying a bad aid to his thumb the band aid would not stick to his wet thumb so he washed it put a glove on and made my food and handed it to me.  I showed some concern to my friend she said don't be silly, so i ate it.  Did not see any blood on food. the two chefs didn't seem to worry about it, should i be concerned?

Get a grip and stop being so paranoid, if HIV was transmitted via eating sushi most of the planet would have it.

Simple choice, stop eating sushi and posting your paranoia online or educative yourself about HIV. Your call. This is 2011 not the dark ages.

It was no risk for hep c either, because his blood would have had to find its way into your blood stream and that never happened from what you described. You would have had to be sharing iv drug works with him for that type of transmission to take place.

Not an hiv concern, because hiv is unable to reproduce outside its living host.It becomes inactive and therefore unable to infect. You never had a risk,no need to worry anymore.
