What if?

Forgive me but this is only the second time i have posted on any site!  I have read many of the post here, some enlightning other confusing and many where it is obviouse people are not being completly up front.

My question is simple because i truly belive i have this and i am quickly approching the point at which the only way forward is to test.  Belive me you cant role the dice as often as i have and not suffer the consiquences.

So what happens if you do show positive?  What happens then? Other than the eneviatble eventuality of death what really happen to HIV sufferers i cant say as i know anyone or of anyone whom i can talk to!

sounds like you have not had an exposure in the last 3 months...and i feel sure that you have read on the forum that a test at 3 months post your last exposure will give a conclusive result.

i wish there was more to tell you...but the ONLY way to know one's status is by testing.  more than likely...you are negative...so why go around with this burden when you could put these fears to rest?  just test ! ! !

my son has hiv and it is NOT the end of the world.  he is happy and healthy.

Sorry Lizzie but i am not sure the details are needed i am/have been a sex addict with almost no control over my actions!  The phycology of this is so very hard to explaun but I have been sleeping with sex workers for the last 5 years two or three times a month on average! ... I always use protection but have at least one occassion where the condom burst and i didnt know until after the event and several occassion when i have been seriously scaird but unable to stop.  I started feeling supposed symptoms some 3 years ago and havent been clear of one issue or another since.  I have considered suicide on many occassions particularly since my brother did just that..For the first time in many years i am finally trying to take ownership of my life again and this bears so heavy i am not sure i will succeed..
